FAIR & TRANSPARENT LISTING RULES
Listing Terms & Content Policy
Please read these conditions before submitting a Free listing, purchasing Premium placement or selecting Sponsored positioning.
Last updated: 28 October 2026. These conditions apply to submissions made through our UK directory websites and to the websites and linked pages associated with a listing. Business information may be reproduced on the directory sites selected by the customer.
1. Eligibility and accurate information
You must be authorised to submit or manage the business. Provide accurate business information, working contact details and a website you control or are authorised to promote. Do not publish private addresses, personal data or third-party content without permission. You are responsible for ensuring all text, logos, photographs, main website links and service/product deep links are lawful and accurate.
2. Prohibited businesses, websites and links
We do not accept listings whose business, website or linked pages promote adult or sexually explicit content or services; pornography; escort or sexual services; gambling, casinos or betting; unlawful goods or services; fraud, scams or deceptive financial schemes; malware, phishing, spam, malicious downloads or deceptive redirects; or other material that is unlawful, seriously misleading or harmful. Restrictions apply equally to a listing’s destination website, subpages and any later changes to those destinations.
We may also reject content where we have a reasonable, evidenced concern about legality, safety, misleading claims or the suitability of the content for a general UK business directory. We will not refuse or remove a business solely on an arbitrary or discriminatory basis.
3. Screening, publication and removal
Listings can be automatically published after validation or verified payment, then reviewed or checked again. Automated publication is not approval of the content. We may reject a submission, request corrections, suspend a profile or remove it where we reasonably determine that it breaches these rules. We may remove an urgent safety or unlawful-content risk immediately; otherwise, where practical, we may contact the account email and offer an opportunity to correct the issue. You may ask us to reconsider a removal through the website contact page.
Free, Premium and Sponsored status do not exempt a listing from these checks. If a Sponsored placement is removed for a breach, its Premium listing may also be affected if the same content breach applies.
4. Free, Premium and Sponsored placements
Free listings do not incur a listing charge. Premium is a one-off payment for an ongoing listing without a scheduled annual renewal fee, with priority above Free listings. “Permanent” means the placement is not sold with a fixed expiry date; it does not guarantee that a directory will operate indefinitely or that a listing cannot be removed for a valid policy breach. Sponsored positioning is an optional, separately priced upgrade for 12 months, subject to availability and a maximum of three sponsored positions per business category per directory. After sponsorship expires, a compliant Premium listing reverts to ordinary Premium positioning.
Prices, selected directory sites and Sponsored duration are shown before payment. Listings and promotional links do not guarantee enquiries, visitor numbers, search rankings or inclusion in third-party search engines. Promotional links may use search-engine-required sponsorship attributes.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Please ensure you meet our content requirements before purchasing. Where we remove a paid listing because the purchaser materially breached clearly stated restrictions, we do not normally refund fees attributable to services already properly delivered. We will consider whether any unprovided services, unused sponsorship period, mistaken decision or other circumstances warrant a full or partial refund. We do not apply a blanket no-refunds rule, and nothing in these conditions excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Paid publication normally begins immediately after payment is verified, if you expressly request immediate commencement at checkout. Where consumer cancellation law applies, your statutory cancellation rights remain in force. Any charge for services supplied during a cancellation period, or any loss of a cancellation right on full performance, applies only where the law’s relevant requirements are satisfied. Business customers should contact us promptly about cancellations or disputes.
Refund and removal requests can be made through our contact page. Include the business name and order reference, and we will review the request and explain the outcome.
6. Updates and ownership
Customers can request secure email-based access to update their listing. You remain responsible for information and links after publication. Substantial changes or new external links may be checked and can result in suspension if they breach the content policy. We may correct clearly inaccurate information or remove a duplicate profile.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update our publishing rules as necessary to reflect law, security and the operation of the directory network. Material updates will be displayed on this page. Changes will not retrospectively remove mandatory statutory rights.
